Vehicle Description This car is consigned by a huge Midwest collector.
Note:
we were one of the first customers of a factory-built Factory Five Racing Shelby Cobra in 1997.
FFR was founded in 1995.
Over the years they have grown from a start-up business in a small garage to become the world's largest manufacturer of build-it-yourself component car kits.
Their products are generally far more in keeping with the original Shelby Cobras, and are more performance oriented due to being founding by two engineer brothers devoted to sports car racing.
This exceptionally low-mile Cobra (1,187 miles) was just professionally appraised at $32,000.
We have no information on the build - or who built it - other than these features:
Chevrolet 350 cid V8 motor,Front disc brakes,Hedman ceramic coated exhaust headers,Edelbrock chrome air cleaner,Edelbrock chrome valve covers,Power steering,Edelbrock intake manifold,4-speed manual transmission,Side exit dual exhaust,White face gauges,Dash clock,Wood rimmed steering wheel,Chrome side mirrors,Bucket seats w/lap belts,3-point hoop roll bar,Lemans style fuel filler,8.
8 solid rear-end,Halibrand style 15 alloy wheels.
As the value of an original 289 Shelby Cobra approaches $1 million, the average price of a Shelby Cobra Replica recently hit $57,588 (dependent upon the engine).
Replicas are difficult to distinguish from real ones; they give a very good driver feel without spending huge money and taking a huge risk driving on the street.
We offer this Cobra at $33,900 far below the current build cost.
No financing is offered.
The car is warehoused in Nebraska.
